- Your business name and trade or service type
- Anything you tell us in a message, form or call
Information we collect automatically
- Basic technical data such as your device type, browser and approximate location

- Cookies and similar technologies (see section 06)
We do not knowingly collect any special category data (such as health, race or religious information). Please don't send us anything like that.
03 How we collect it

- When you call, text, email or message us
- When you book a call through our online calendar
- Automatically, through cookies and analytics when you browse the site
04 Why we use your information
We use your information to:
- Reply to your enquiry and arrange a call
- Provide and manage our service if you become a client
- Send you information about our services (where you've agreed to it)
- Improve our website and understand what's working
- Keep records and meet our legal and tax obligations
- Prevent fraud and keep our systems secure
Our lawful bases
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), we rely on one or more of the following reasons to use your information:
- Consent — for example, when you agree to receive marketing. You can withdraw this at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, run and grow our business, and keep our systems secure, in a way you'd reasonably expect.
- Contract — to deliver the service we've agreed to provide you.
- Legal obligation — to meet accounting, tax and other legal requirements.
05 Marketing
If you've asked to hear from us, or you're an existing contact, we may send you occasional updates about our services by email, phone or text.
You can opt out at any time — just reply to any message, click the unsubscribe link, or email team@weconnectleads.com. We'll stop, and it won't affect anything else.
06 Cookies & analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device that help a website work and help us understand how it's used. We may use:
- Essential cookies — needed for the site to function
- Analytics cookies — to see how visitors use the site so we can improve it
- Advertising cookies — to measure and improve our ads, where used
You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. If we use non-essential cookies, we'll ask for your consent through a cookie banner first.
07 Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only share it with trusted providers who help us run our service, and only so they can do that job for us. These fall into a few categories:
- Website hosting
- Customer management, booking and messaging platforms
- Email and text message delivery
- Website analytics
- Advertising platforms (where used)
- Professional advisers, such as accountants, where needed
[Optional: list the specific providers you use here for full transparency, e.g. your hosting and CRM platforms]
We may also share information if the law requires us to, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
08 Sending data outside the UK
Some of our providers may store or process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent approved terms — so your information stays protected.
09 How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it. If you enquire but don't become a client, we keep your details for around [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 24 months], then delete them. If you become a client, we keep relevant records for the length of our work together and for as long afterwards as the law requires (for example, for tax). After that, we securely delete or anonymise it.
10 Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls and secure, reputable providers. No system is ever 100% secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.
11 Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete your information
- Ask us to limit how we use it
- Object to us using it (including for marketing)
- Ask us to transfer it to another provider
- Withdraw your consent at any time
To use any of these rights, just email team@weconnectleads.com. We'll respond within one month, and it's free.
12 Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first — we'd like the chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
13 Children
Our service is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
14 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date at the top. Please check back now and again to stay informed.
